Another special texture polish - Zoya PixieDust in ‘Destiny’. Has anyone else noticed that Zoya polishes have stripper sounding names? Just an observation.
I am loving my new Zoya polishes - I just received my haul from the Earth Day sale. I will have more swatches with stripper sounding names posted soon!
For the next week Zoya is doing a promotion where you order up to 6 polishes for 50% off, then you send back 6 old polishes and they dispose of them for you. This is an amazing deal considering their polishes are typically $8 each. Visit Zoya Nail Polish Exchange for full details.
Tonight I have a lovely textured polish to show you all - here is ‘London’ by Zoya. This one is from their winter PixieDust line - their new summer PixieDust set should be released this month (April 2013)
The Zoya website says not to use a basecoat or topcoat with these colors which saves a lot of time if you want a quick manicure. I used two coats here and got great coverage.
What does everyone think of the new textured polish trend? For me it is like glitter polish- I absolutely love it but because of the extra time needed for removal I probably won’t use it all the time.
Models Own ‘Pray’ with ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’ gold flecks top coat.
I love this gold flecked top coat - I was able to snag a bottle of it on sale at Beauty Brands (for $12 down from $20) and when I searched online to buy another bottle for a friend they were going for about $50. Needless to say I am stoked with this find!
