I painted Peach Melba as a base, then painted the other colors directly onto a cosmetic sponge then stamped my nail to get the gradient look. Clean up was a bit of a mess, as you can tell by my orange tinted fingertips.

Barry M ‘Lavender’ glitter over Essie ‘Great Expectations’
I picked up ‘Great Expectations’ on sale the other day at a local salon and it turned out to be much more sheer than I expected. Before I put the glitter over it I was really bored/sort of put off by the color but it turned out to be a great base coat for sparkles.
I love the Barry M ‘Lavender’ glitter though - it has big square pieces and microscopic silver pieces which give it a nice depth.
Tonight I tried a new method which is meant to keep polish from chipping for over a week. I found it on this blog. I’m sure I will get bored and want to change the color before then so we may never know if it works.

Overall, the Barry M foil polishes provide thicker coverage and really only require 1 coat, but the Models Own ones have more shimmer to them. All of them work really well for stamping and nail art.
